Trish Murphy is a native Floridian,  Air Force veteran, business owner, and mom of four. Born and raised right here in the Orlando area. At 19 she joined the Air Force looking for an adventure and found one as the only female mechanic in a flight of 100. Stationed in Alaska and assigned to a fighter wing, watching the collaborative efforts to get 3 squadrons of fighter planes in the air at minus 30-degree temperatures every day was nothing short of inspiring. She learned the value of teamwork, and that together nothing is impossible. Post service, she largely stayed home and raised her four children. During that time, she pursued her degree in marketing and homeschooled her children for 13 years (hardest thing ever!). She fell in love with marketing and small businesses, thus starting her own marketing agency, Marketing Smart Pants, in 2016. She is heavily involved with The Florida Association of Veteran-Owned Businesses and currently sits on the state board as Marketing Chair. She can be found at the barn riding horses in her spare time. She is easily bribed with a glass of wine and a good novel.
